Our matching process was developed by psychologists and uses research on the factors that matter most in a therapeutic relationship. Your responses to our short quiz are combined with this evidence-informed framework to select psychologists who are most likely to be a good fit for you.
Is it free to use?

No, some people prefer full control over who they choose. You can browse our directory and apply filters such as location, availability, areas of focus, therapy approach, and more to find psychologists that suit your needs.
Who are the psychologists?
All psychologists in our platform are AHPRA-registered and undergo a verification process before joining. You can see their areas of expertise, therapy approach, and availability before deciding who to connect with.
Is my information safe?
We do not collect any identifiable information from you. You can opt in to provide your email address if you would like a copy of your matches.
Who can join Pair Psychology?
Pair Psychology is open to AHPRA-registered psychologists and mental health clinicians. We verify credentials before approving any profile.
How do I create a profile?
Click "Join as a Clinician" in the navigation. You'll complete a multi-step registration covering your background, specialties, therapy approaches, availability, and payment options.
Is there a cost to join?
Creating a profile and being listed on Pair Psychology is currently free for clinicians during our early access period.
How does referral work?
When a client matches with you through our questionnaire, they can view your full profile and choose to connect directly. You are notified and can follow up from there.
