1. Introduction
Welcome to Pair Psychology ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, platform, and services (collectively, the "Services").
By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.
Pair Psychology is a platform that facilitates connections between individuals seeking mental health support ("Clients") and licensed mental health professionals ("Clinicians"). We are not a healthcare provider and do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
2. Eligibility
To use our Services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
- Not be prohibited from using the Services under applicable law
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration
If you are a Clinician, you must additionally hold all required licenses, certifications, and registrations to practice in your jurisdiction and maintain them throughout your use of the platform.
3. Use of Services
3.1 Platform Services
Pair Psychology provides a matching service that connects Clients with Clinicians based on various factors including specialties, therapeutic approaches, location, and personal preferences. Our matching algorithm is designed to suggest suitable matches, but the final decision to engage with any Clinician rests with you.
3.2 No Medical Advice
The information provided through our Services is for general informational purposes only and is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.
3.3 Account Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
- Provide false, misleading, or inaccurate information
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Harass, abuse, or harm another person through the Services
- Interfere with or disrupt the Services or servers
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services
- Use automated systems to access the Services without permission
- Collect or harvest user information without consent
- Use the Services to transmit spam or unsolicited communications
5. Terms for Clinicians
If you register as a Clinician, you additionally agree to:
- Maintain all required professional licenses, certifications, and registrations and provide proof upon request
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards
- Maintain appropriate professional liability insurance
- Provide accurate information about your qualifications, specialties, and services
- Respond to Client inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain appropriate boundaries and confidentiality with Clients
- Not engage in any dual relationships that could compromise professional judgment
Pair Psychology reserves the right to verify your credentials and may remove Clinicians who fail to meet our standards or violate these Terms.
6. Disclaimers and Limitations
6.1 Service Disclaimer
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.
6.2 Clinician Relationship
Pair Psychology is not a party to any agreement between Clients and Clinicians. We do not endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for any Clinician's services, qualifications, or conduct. Any therapeutic relationship is solely between the Client and the Clinician.
6.3 Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PAIR PSYCHOLOGY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.
7. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Services. Your continued use of the Services after such notification constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.

9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Victoria, Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.
