About Jasmine

Jasmine is a clinical psychologist, who enjoys working with adolescents and adults. She holds a Masters degree in clinical psychology, and has experience working in community mental health settings, tertiary settings, private practice, and forensic settings. She draws from a range of evidence-based interventions to create a specific treatment plan for her clients. Her main intervention modes include schema therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy. Jasmine emphasises psychoeducation and shared conceptualisation through her care; believing that knowledge is power - especially when it comes to our own patterns and processes. Jasmine values a specific, tailored intervention plan, as no two people, or presentations are the same. Jasmine understands the vulnerability that comes with engaging in therapy, therefore she aims to truly connect, and foster a safe therapeutic relationship with her clients. Safety and comfort in the therapy room are her primary goals and focus. She works collaboratively with her clients to meet them where they are at, and continuously work alongside them to help achieve their therapeutic goals. Jasmine's interests, and areas of expertise include: Interpersonal difficulties Relational challenges Trauma, including complex trauma Personality disorders Life adjustments or transitions Adolescent mental health OCD Mood disorders - including anxiety disorders and depressive disorders
