About Renaty

With over 25 years of experience and Master’s degrees in Counselling Psychology and Special Education, I provide a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where my clients feel heard and understood. I take a collaborative, personalised approach, helping people gain insight, build resilience, and create meaningful change while feeling supported every step of the way. Taking the first step towards therapy can feel daunting, and I understand the courage it takes to reach out. I hope to support you on your journey.

Therapeutic approaches

  • ACT

Builds psychological flexibility by accepting difficult thoughts and committing to value-driven actions.

  • CBT

Identifies and changes unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours driving mental health difficulties.

  • Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT)

Cultivates self-compassion to reduce shame and self-criticism, often for those with high levels of self-blame.

  • DBT

Teaches emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal skills — especially for borderline personality disorder.

  • Eating Disorder Treatment (CBT-E, SSCM, MANTRA, FBT)

Addresses disordered eating patterns through structured cognitive and behavioural interventions tailored for eating disorders.

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)

Views the mind as made up of distinct "parts" and works to heal wounded internal subpersonalities.

  • Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)

Combines mindfulness meditation with CBT to prevent depression relapse by shifting awareness of thought patterns.

  • Relationship Therapy

Helps couples or individuals improve relationship dynamics, communication, and intimacy.
