About Harpy

Hey, my name is Harpy (she/her). I'm a psychologist and I support young adults and culturally linguistically diverse (CALD) people to better cope with their distress, achieve their goals, and make sense of their relationship with themselves and other people. I have a particular interest in supporting clients who are presenting with: Anxiety & OCD Trauma & PTSD Attachment, identity, and interpersonal challenges Adjustment to medical diagnoses, health events and chronic conditions I am trauma-informed, culturally-inclusive, gender-affirming and neuro-affirming. My Approach: My own lived experience as a first generation immigrant shapes the way I show up for my clients. It informs my commitment to inclusive, culturally sensitive, and affirming care and my belief that feeling genuinely understood is a foundation for real change. I work alongside my clients at a pace that feels right for them, taking time to understand what has brought someone to therapy and what they hope to gain from it. My approach is recovery-oriented and strengths-based, less focused on what's "wrong," and more curious about what you have experienced, the impact that has had, and where you want to go. I regularly seek feedback to make sure our work together is meeting your goals. In my personal time enjoy practising yoga and pilates, cooking, learning Bhangra, gardening, and when possible, a swim in the ocean.
