About Eleanor

I am a Clinical Psychologist with experience working across both public and private settings. I work with people of all ages, with a particular interest in supporting adolescents and young adults. I work with a range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), trauma, substance use and body image concerns. I believe in the importance of spending time really getting to know my clients and developing a shared understanding of their strengths and difficulties. I value integrating evidence-based approaches into therapy in a way that feels practical, flexible, and responsive to each individual. My approach is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I aim to create a space that feels safe and genuine, where clients can be open and feel understood, while also being willing to gently challenge unhelpful patterns and support meaningful change. I believe therapy works best when it feels human rather than clinical, and I try to bring that into the room. Alongside my clinical work I also work in academia, researching youth suicide prevention. I am passionate about using my clinical experience to enhance the relevance and quality of my academic work, while also using my academic work to guide my delivery of high-quality and evidence-based psychological treatment.
