About Melissa

I'm Melissa — a registered psychologist working with adults on Sydney's Northern Beaches. I offer in-person and telehealth sessions in Brookvale, and I'm currently accepting new clients. I work with people navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, relationship difficulties, and the kind of persistent struggles that haven't shifted with shorter-term approaches. If you've tried therapy before and felt like something was missing, or if what you're dealing with feels complex or hard to name, you're probably exactly the kind of person I work well with. My approach is psychodynamic and relational — which means I'm less focused on worksheets and techniques, and more interested in understanding you as a whole person. I believe the therapeutic relationship itself is one of the most powerful tools for change. Sessions feel like a real conversation. I have experience across private, inpatient, and government settings, including at South Pacific Private (Australia's leading centre for trauma, addiction, and complex mental health). I hold a Master of Professional Psychology and am completing specialist training in the Conversational Model of Psychotherapy under clinical supervision with ANZAP. I'm a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPi).
