About Kate
Kate is a registered Psychologist with AHPRA who has extensive experience supporting individuals and teams to optimise wellbeing and performance in complex, high-stakes environments. Her background spans the Australian Defence Force, NSW Police, adolescent services, corporate organisations, and television production, providing her with practical insight into human behaviour, resilience, and performance. Kate works with clients experiencing complex trauma, depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), alcohol and substance use concerns, and anger management difficulties. She is known for her calm, compassionate, and collaborative approach, creating a safe, supportive environment where clients can build practical skills for lasting change. With more than 17 years of leadership experience across the Royal Australian Navy and Australian Army, Kate integrates evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), performance psychology, and motivational interviewing. She helps individuals clarify values, increase psychological flexibility, and enhance resilience, while supporting teams to develop psychologically safe, high-performing cultures. Kate has a particular interest in trauma-informed care, performance coaching, and leadership development. Outside of work, she enjoys cycling, is an enthusiastic (if average) yogi, and shares her home with three small dogs.
