About Dee

I bring compassion and a down-to-earth approach to create a space where adults and teenagers can bring their full selves, speak openly, safely, and without judgement. I have a passion for supporting individuals exploring Autism and ADHD, helping them develop a deeper understanding of themselves from a lived-experience perspective. I also have a particular interest in supporting those navigating emotional overwhelm, anger, generational trauma, complex trauma, dissociation, grief, health anxiety, phobias, perfectionism, people-pleasing, purpose and direction, cultural identity, gender identity, relationship challenges, kink dynamics and alternative relationship styles. My approach is neuro-affirming, inclusive of all cultures, genders and orientations. I focus on helping individuals better understand themselves, reconnect with what truly matters to them, and build the confidence to lead their life on their terms.

Therapeutic approaches

  • ACT

Builds psychological flexibility by accepting difficult thoughts and committing to value-driven actions.

  • CBT

Identifies and changes unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours driving mental health difficulties.

  • Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT)

Cultivates self-compassion to reduce shame and self-criticism, often for those with high levels of self-blame.

  • DBT

Teaches emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal skills — especially for borderline personality disorder.

  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

Strengthens emotional bonds in couples and individuals by identifying and restructuring emotional responses.

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)

Views the mind as made up of distinct "parts" and works to heal wounded internal subpersonalities.

  • Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)

Combines mindfulness meditation with CBT to prevent depression relapse by shifting awareness of thought patterns.

  • Schema Therapy

Identifies and heals deep-rooted negative beliefs formed in childhood that drive ongoing emotional difficulties.
