About Phillip

As a psychologist, I am deeply passionate about helping you understand the unique story of your life. My approach centres on how your history and relationships shape the way you view yourself, navigate the world, and function day-to-day. I offer a warm, compassionate space where we can explore these dynamics together; and yes, that includes room for laughter. I love using humour in my practice, as it is often a healing part of the therapeutic relationship. I work within an attachment-informed lens, helping you understand your core emotional needs and finding healthy ways to get them met. My practice focuses heavily on trauma, developmental trauma, and relationship difficulties. I am dedicated to trauma processing work through Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), which I balance with practical strategies to support daily functioning. I also incorporate elements of Schema Therapy, ACT, and CBT to foster lasting change. Additionally, I am passionate about supporting LGBTQIA+ and gender-diverse individuals, helping clients understand their identity and navigate transitions. Drawing from my background across schools, public youth health services, NDIS providers, and private practice, my goal is to support you to reach your therapeutic goals.
