About Megan

Megan is a registered psychologist with over 10 years experience working in mental health. We are wired to connect; but difficult childhood experiences can cause us to connect at the expense of emotional needs. Over time this process can lead to challenges with life goals like: - starting a meaningful career - maintaining healthy relationships - building a strong sense of identity - managing emotional highs and lows - coping with life stressors with resilience When people struggle in these areas it can lead to patterns of disconnection, loneliness, lack of direction and deepening sense of mistrust in oneself. I’m interested in supporting people to understand how their childhood shaped their ideas of themselves and the world. With this understanding and tailored interventions, I help people to move towards greater emotional regulation, self-compassion, a valued life with more meaning and connection. With the momentum of post-traumatic growth, I believe we can all improve our perspectives and circumstances, inching ever closer to more genuine and meaningful life.
